O maior conquistador não é aquele que conquista grandes coisas, mas sim o que conquista as pequenas e as torna grandes!

There are only a few people in life who can inspire us with their sayings alone. One of them is the spiritual current Dalai Lama, the 14th Dalai Lama who has committed to promoting positive values such as, forgiveness, self-discipline, tolerance, compassion, and contentment. Here are some of the quotes from him that is all the inspiration and practical wisdom that help people to change their life.

There is no definition of beauty, but when you can see someone's spirit coming through, something unexplainable, that's beauty.

Cherry Cheesecake Crescent Muffins

Cherry Cheesecake Crescent Muffins is quick and easy breakfast, snack, and very satisfying dessert. Made with refrigerated crescent rolls, cherry pie filling, and cream cheese in less than half an hour, these muffins are amazing.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. refrigerated crescent dough
  • 5 oz. softened cream cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup cherries from cherry pie filling
  • 2 Tablespoons melted butter
  • 23 Tablespoons light brown sugar
  • powdered sugar for dusting-optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F and grease standard muffin pan with baking spray, set aside. This recipe makes 8 muffins.
  2. To make the cream cheese filling in a bowl stir together cream cheese, 2 Tablespoons of sugar, and vanilla.
  3. Then, unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 4 rectangles. Seal the perforation between the triangles and cut each rectangle in half to make 8 squares.
  4. Place a square of dough on your palm, gently stretch the dough, drop one heaping tablespoon of cream cheese filling in the center, then add 1 tablespoon of cherries.  Pick up the corner of the dough and pinch them together. Seal all sides and roll it gently between your palms to make the ball. Brush with melted butter, and place in a pan (seal side down). Repeat the process with the remaining dough and filling. Sprinkle the tops with brown sugar.
  5. Bake for about 16-20 minutes or until the tops get nice golden-brown color. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan. You can serve warm with vanilla ice cream or let them cool and dust with powdered sugar if desire.

Every one of us casts a shadow.

There hangs about us, a sort of a strange, indefinable something, which we call personal influence--that has its effect on every other life on which it falls. It goes with us wherever we go. It is not something we can have when we want to have it--and then lay aside when we will, as we lay aside a garment. It is something that always pours out from our lives . . . as light from a lamp, as heat from flame, as perfume from a flower.

The ministry of personal influence is something very wonderful. Without being conscious of it, we are always impressing others by this strange power that exudes from us. Others watch us--and their thinking and actions are modified by our influence."

"Be very careful, then, how you live--not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity." Ephesians 5:15-16
