Yves Saint Laurent's fall/winter 1983-84
Jacqueline Kennedy had noticed a photograph of
Audrey Hepburn wearing the original yellow version of the dress in
the May 11, 1962 issue of Life magazine.
She supplied Cassini with a sketch from which he created this
version after a spring-summer 1962 model
number 3786 by Hubert de Givenchy.
